António Braga Trifásico Red 2022

António Braga Trifásico 2022 is a red wine produced in the Douro region. This wine confirms António Braga's philosophy of respecting the Douro's winemaking tradition while innovating in production methods, creating unique wines that convey identity and creativity. It has good gastronomic versatility, ideal to accompany red meats, game dishes or even some more intense pastas. The recommended serving temperature is between 14ºC and 16ºC, to preserve all its freshness and aromatic expression.

Vinification: The name ‘Trifásico’ is directly linked to its vinification process, which takes place in three distinct phases. Firstly, the Mourisco grapes are fermented on their own. Then the Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes are added to the already fermented masses, starting a second fermentation. Finally, the resulting wine is transferred to used French oak barrels, where it ages for 10 months, acquiring greater complexity and structure.

Tasting notes: Young ruby colour with bluish reflections. The aroma is very expressive, characterised by fresh red fruits. On the palate, it is ample, with round, well-integrated tannins, showing a balance between acidity and ripeness. The profile is elegant, with notes of ripe fruit and a long, harmonious finish.
