Impecável Touriga Nacional Carlos Raposo 2023

Impecável red is a 100 per cent wine made from the region's queen grape variety, Touriga Nacional, this emblematic Portuguese variety. With a very fresh and floral aroma where bergamot and violet stand out in a perfect marriage, it is a wine that stands out from other Tourigas, with great balance, little extraction, moderate alcohol content, no wood, very fresh, easy to drink and above all very gastronomic.

The vineyards are between 30 and 50 years old and are mainly located in the Serra da Estrela sub-region, the coolest sub-region in the Dão region, which naturally produces elegant, fresh wines. Once the alcoholic fermentation was complete, the wine was cleaned and underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, where it aged for 6 months before being bottled. 20721 bottles of 0.75 litres and 100 bottles of 1.5 litres were produced.

Producer's tasting notes

Very vivid ruby colour, medium concentration. Vibrant on the nose, fragrant, with a fresh and very expressive aroma in the floral notes of violet, bergamot blossom, spices and pine leaf, harmoniously linked to a balsamic profile, giving rise to a complex and captivating aroma. On the palate, a very elegant wine with a markedly youthful profile. With a good volume in the mouth, youthful, with good acidity and soft tannins, it's a wine that makes you want to drink it, without being heavy thanks to its balance. Long finish, with a very refreshing mineral flavour.
