Susana Esteban 'Procura' Red 2019 is the result of an incessant search for very old vines in the Serra de São Mamede, at an altitude of 700 meters. Red, almost black in colour, it is ideal both for enjoying now and for aging in the bottle, promising to evolve and reveal even more layers of complexity over time. It's a perfect choice for those looking for a sophisticated, balanced wine full of character.

Vinification: The grapes were harvested by hand, in 20 kg boxes, with rigorous selection in the winery and vinification was carried out in small stainless-steel vats with temperature control. It was aged for 24 months in used French oak barrels brought from Burgundy to preserve the identity of the vineyard.

Tasting notes: Very dark red colour, almost black. Notes of ripe, intense fruit, although without any over-ripeness, plus tobacco and a mineral background, are accompanied by a slight vegetal hint that adds unusual complexity and tension. Lively and powerful, austere but delicate, it surprises with its lively but serene tannins, finishing fresh and vigorous.
