Textura Pura Tinto 2020 is a fascinating expression of the Dão region's winemaking tradition, known for its ability to produce wines with elegance, freshness and complexity. Produced with a blend of indigenous grape varieties, it reflects the granite terroir and mountainous climate of the region, giving it a unique and refined character. It can be enjoyed young, but also promises to evolve gracefully in the bottle.
Vinification: Fermentation in used French oak vats (40% whole bunches) with indigenous yeasts, followed by post-fermentation maceration for 30 days. Aged for 16 months in used 3,000 litre French oak barrels, with another part in used 225 litre French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Very mineral and juicy, with fascinating layers of mineral and bitter cherry flavours. It brightens up the palate. Very sophisticated. Long. Jancis Robinson

Fermentation in a vat and ageing in a foudre. Slightly reduced aroma that opens up to fresh notes of cherry, strawberry and fresh herbs. Straightforward mouthfeel, lots of freshness, vibrant acidity, savoury and focused, medium body, clean finish and retaining plenty of flavour. Very good, a must!
