Parapente Trás-os-Montes White 2021
Parapente Trás-os-Montes White 2021
Parapente Trás-os-Montes White 2021 is a vibrant, fresh wine produced in the Trás-os-Montes region. Made from grape varieties typical of the region, this wine has citrus and floral aromas and a balanced acidity that gives it freshness. This wine harmonises perfectly with light dishes such as salads, seafood, grilled fish, sushi and fresh cheeses, making it an excellent choice for summer meals.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand, only in the morning, to preserve maximum freshness at night and preserve maximum quality. When they arrive at the winery, they undergo rigorous screening, gentle pressing, followed by spontaneous fermentation in used and new 500 litre and 225 litre French oak barrels. After fermentation we opted for a 10-month ageing period in contact with the fine lees, without battonage.
Tasting notes: Pale yellow colour, aroma with hints of citrus, fine, precise, with high quality fruit, orange peel, quince. On the palate it has firm acidity in a complex full of brightness, tension and freshness. Elegant and precise finish.
Grape Varieties: Old Vines, blend of grape varieties (Códega, Viosinho, Gouveio, Bical and Verdelho).
Winemaker: Joana Pinhão

More focused on grassy notes than fruit, aromatic plants, green tea, without the vegetal undertones being excessive, but rather personalised and tense. On the palate it's complex and refined, fat but light, with a full body cut by grapefruit and ripe orange acidity. Very precise and refined.
Pure lifted citrus and crushed stones. Sour-fresh intensity, herbal, bay leaf, mouth-watering and long. So much going on with such modest alcohol.
