Niepoort Tiara White 2024 is a highly elegant white Douro wine, produced by Niepoort, a family-run estate founded in 1842 and now one of the leading names in Portuguese wine, consistently committed to tradition, innovation and the pursuit of fresh, precise and authentic wines. Tiara is made from old vines grown at altitude in the Douro, at around 600 metres, where Códega do Larinho plays a prominent role, accompanied by other traditional white grape varieties. It is a wine that reveals a less obvious side of the Douro: more mineral, refined and taut, with great potential for development in the bottle. Vinification: Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, preserving the fresh and elegant character of the vines. Tiara’s style is based on delicate vinification and careful ageing, traditionally in large-capacity foudres/barrels, which impart texture and complexity without masking the wine’s acidity and minerality.

Tasting notes: A subtle and precise nose, with citrus, stone fruit, white flowers, aromatic herbs and a strong mineral sensation. On the palate it is vibrant, dry and very fresh, with a fine texture, firm acidity, a salty edge and a long, elegant finish full of energy.
