Geantet-Pansiot Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 is a classic red wine from the Côte de Nuits, produced by one of the most respected families in Gevrey. Founded in the 1950s, the domaine has gained notoriety for its pursuit of Pinot Noir purity and wines with intense fruit, silky texture and aromatic depth. The year 2022 brought excellent conditions: moderate heat, even ripening and balanced vines, resulting in an expressive and extremely precise wine.

Vinification: Hand-picked, partially destemmed, gently fermented to extract only fine tannins, and aged in barrels (about 30 to 40% new oak) to enhance complexity without masking the identity of the terroir. The result is a Gevrey full of character, faithful to the clay and limestone plots that give it structure and elegance.

Tasting Notes: The aroma is dominated by black cherry, ripe raspberry, subtle notes of violet, damp earth and fine spice. On the palate, it is vibrant and silky, with polished tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish that blends pure red fruit with a mineral touch typical of the region. An irresistible wine in its youth, but with the capacity to evolve over the next decade.
