Tua Rita Lodano White 2025 is a rare, limited-production Toscana Bianco IGT, produced in Suvereto, in the Alta Maremma, where Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti founded the estate in 1984. Known worldwide for cult reds such as Redigaffi, Tua Rita reveals a more unexpected and sophisticated side with this white. The Lodano is described by the producer as “Rita’s creation”: it was she who believed that, in that Mediterranean climate and on the soils of the Colline Metallifere, it would be possible to create a white wine of great charm from a blend uncommon to the region, combining Traminer, Riesling and Chardonnay. The first vintage was in 1999, and it has since become one of the estate’s most distinctive white wines.

Vinification: Produced in small quantities, Lodano Bianco is aged in barriques for around 6 months, seeking to combine freshness, texture and complexity without losing the aromatic expression of the grape varieties.

Tasting notes: It presents an elegant, fragrant and enveloping profile, with notes of white fruit, ripe citrus, flowers, dried herbs, gentle spices and a subtle mineral nuance. On the palate, it is fresh, textured and balanced, with good breadth, lively acidity and a long, gastronomic and slightly salty finish. A distinctive Tuscan white, ideal with fine fish, seafood, risotto, poultry and hard cheeses.

Grape varieties: Traminer, Riesling and Chardonnay in equal parts
