Piantagrossa 396 Valle d'Aosta 2020 is a remarkable expression of high mountain viticulture, reflecting the uniqueness of the Valle d'Aosta terroir. A wine that impresses with its purity, elegance and ability to reflect the unique terroir from which it comes. Versatile, it harmonises perfectly with a variety of dishes, from grilled red meats to pasta with rich sauces and mature cheeses.

Vinification: In steel, with cold pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation at 28 °C, maceration for around 20 days. Aged for 8 months in steel on fine lees.

Tasting notes: Transparent ruby red colour with consistent orange highlights. The nose is intense and persistent, floral and fruity with notes of violets, mountain flowers and small fruits. On the palate, the wine is warm, round, balanced, fine and pleasantly tannic.
