Tirado a ferros White 2019 is produced in Dão, from old vines grown on granite soil, with vines over 80 years old. The vinification follows a model of minimal intervention. In the glass, it displays a lemon-yellow colour, with a rich and complex nose. It is a wine with structure and depth, capable of expressing elegance and freshness despite its long ageing in wood. It is a wine for ageing, but can be consumed immediately or allowed to evolve further.

Vinification: The grapes (a blend of old white grape varieties from old vines) are vinified using indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, without strict temperature control, aged in new French oak barrels, in 225L casks, and prolonged ageing in barrels, about 23 months in new barrels.

Tasting notes: Lemon-yellow colour, exotic aromas with considerable complexity, stone fruit, white flowers and a strong presence of the barrel, which gives it aromatic power. On the palate, it has a striking acidity, texture and long persistence, expressing elegance and energy.
